  1. am i am trying to better acquaint myself with this forum, as i know i should have years ago, would someone be so kind to help, a mediocre to understand simple rules (kinda knows how to upload to post, but not sure about the gallery area), how to upload to a gallery for onesself here?

  3. oooooooooo, it felt good to get back out in the shop, got this order on saturday, cut it yesterday, and delivered today…. Lora Irish pattern, cut from red oak, used #5 FD-UR blades
  4. my first attempt at cutting tray puzzles, let’s hope the next ones work better than these 4 did? i forgot the designer’s name, if any of you know, please inform me? the puzzles are cut from various corian colors, 2 tray outlines are red mahogany stain, with poly finish, and special walnut stained backer, other 2 are special walnut stained outlines, and red mahogany stained backer, with poly finish…all 4 outlines are cut from 1/2 inch cabinet grade ply with 3/16 in wood backer various color corian crosses, with crown of thorns embedded within, design by Bobby Riggs/Scrollerific you know you’ve been away too long, when you can’t remember your username and password…so happy for FB

  7. here's a couple of puzzles i've finished... horse was modified from the usual 8 piece puzzle, down to a 4 piece puzzle, cut from poplar, using a #3 FD-UR blade, finished with butcher block (child safe) mineral oil rabbit is cut from red oak, using a #3 FD-UR blade, finished with butcher block (child safe) mineral oil as well

  11. here’s my week’s worth of WIP stuff the horse within the horse is cut from a piece of white oak burl…it measures 3/4†x 7 3/4 x 10 1/4…i used several FD-UR #5’s on it, dang that burl oak is hard...this was the wife’s valentine gift…yes, i done guuuudd the shepard face is cut from 1/4†sanded ply…it’s an 8 x 10 piece…i used FD-UR #3’s…this is just the ‘rough cut’ version, i still gotta sand and finish it before it’s ready...any ideas on a price for this piece, framed, and unframed? wife thinks i should go higher than what i quoted her
  12. lab is dyed with behlen jet black, finished with minwax natural seal/stain, natural danish oil, and liquid gold, cut with an FD-UR #5 trotter is cut from plywood, sealed/stained with minwax natural, natural danish oil, and liquid gold, cut with an FD-UR #5
  13. horse head and bunny, cut from ash with FD-UR #3’s and #5’s, gorilla head from red oak with same blades…sealed and stained with minwax natural, natural color danish oil, and final coat of liquid gold

  15. hi folks, i'm a 52 yo disabled male...i live in Barnesville, GA...i started scrollin a few years ago, but had to take a break from it when wife fell off her horse and had a couple of surgeries...needless to say, she's better now, and i've been goin at it in the shop since about october of last year...sold a few ornaments, and now workin on misc stuff, plus tryin to get an inventory of items up for a show in october this year...hopefully i can...ok, i tend to ramble a bit, so i'll hush for now...thanx for havin me here
