did this vette for a woman . its a christmas gift for her husband hes rebuilding one . also did this picture for my aunt sandy . her oldest son passed a few years back of cancer. made her and his daughter one. . wunt loves my work and just want her to have something special

well couldnt find my origanal post but got around to glassing and framing the gun so its done. first time to use a wash. cut new western red cedar for frame. watch some utube and tried this. 1 quart white vinager and 2 0000 steel wool unrolled so it was flat in a plastic pail with a lid. let it sit 4 days and added another quart of water. paint the frame and next day its aged and old looking . lot easier than working with old rotten fence pickets

my son got a bunch oak trim cut them in half and had a bead on both sides cuta a slot for picture and made frames

did you order from seyco, hes really fast on anything my experience heck of nice guy too. congrats your gonna love the machine. its cold here i may just go out and put a blanket on mine

cut these out and made the frames one is stained golden oak and clear coat and other one just clear coat . frames are oak and godeln oak stain

2 of my oldest grand kids came out to shop to make something for mom and dad. we got the idea from kkrunde here on the sight. the oldest 2 cut theres out but paw paw cut there little brothers cause he not quite 2 yet. any way they took them home and moms gonna let them paint them and nail them on the turkey heads paw paw cut out on the bandsaw. pictures later when i get them.

that is wonderful. my 7 year old grandson needs to build something for a cub scout woodworkng patch think we will make one thursday while hes here. thank you for the idea
