  1. I got an Hegner multicast 1 from 1996. It has mostly collected dust, but today I wanted to create something for my grandson's confirmation. I had made all internal cuts but one. I stopped the saw, did the normal procedure when changing to a new entry hole. I pressed the power button, and nothing happened. It seems like there is a fuse that popped, but I can't find it. Is there anyone here that have more knowledge about these machines?
  2. I did my first test cuts yesterday. It looks much easier than it is. Keeping a straight line, compensating, and over compensating etc. I need a lot of practice to master this. I'm looking forward to it though.
  3. I found a small supplier of different wood today. I'm so happy for that. It was a nice old man that loved to chat, and show me around the shop. This is a hairy coo. She is called Katrina. I photographed her in Scotland in 2012
  4. Thanks everybody. I feel welcome already. To Rob, It's good to see neighbors here. Scotland is one of my favorite destinations. I would love to see a hairy coo pattern
  5. I'm a 52 year old man from Norway, but have lived half my life in the Faroe Islands. I got interested in scroll just by chance. I discovered that working with wood was something I liked, after building a doghouse. I bought a Dremel rotary tool, and after browsing other tools from Dremel, I discovered the Moto-Saw, and then I checked up reviews on youtube. Then I discovered Scrollsawing, and wanted to try. I got the scroll saw, but havent had time yet to try it. I have found some practice patterns I want to try on some 6mm plywood. Finding nice wood for projects are hard here, but I can get som skills training on plywood. I'm very excited to fire up the scrollsaw, and try. I hope I can find a lot of help and inspiration here Ole Kristian Valle Faroe Islands
