  3. I have a DW 877 and when I go to high speed my saw starts to vibrate and make funny sound. I can still cut but I have chatter. At low speeds it sounds good and cuts good. Any help. Thanks
  4. I have a question about coloring of wood. I have a limited choice of wood where I live and would like to make my wood that is light into white and make wood look black. I don't want to use paint. I still would like to see grain of the wood. Thanks for any help.

  7. I started doing Intarsia as a way to honor my military working dog I had. This is one I did for the local Vet Center in Albany NY. This is a labor of love to our Unsong Heros.
  8. This is a project I did for my grand daughter for her birthday. It was a lot of fun to make. I learn more about intarsia with each project I do.
  9. I just try to cut each piece as carefully as I can and then send till fits. I use different woods and no stains. I don't buy kits but I do buy the patterns. As I am still new to intarsia I am still learning. There is a lot of good info here.
  10. I am new doing Intarsia and I have done a project to honor the Military Working Dog I handled in Vietnam. What start as something for myself has turned into something other people are wanting one. I donate 10% of the cost to the Wound Warrior Fund and Military Working Dog Assoc. I has been something that I am proud in doing to honor the MWDs that are unsong heros.

  12. I am new to intarsia and this is the plaque I made to honor the dog I handled while in Vietnam. I have always wanted to do something to honor him and found that Intarsia was a good way of doing it.
  13. I am new to Intarsia and looking for a good pattern of a german shepherd. I am going to try and make a Intarsia for honoring our military working dogs. I want to make it for the dog I handled while in Vietnam. Any help would help. I know I am taking on big project but it is something I have wanted to do for years.
