  6. This is cut from 1/2 poplar using Pegas #3 MG and 2/0 FD spiral blades.....The last of Fiona's patterns (for now)...Finished this one with a 50/50 mix of Mineral spirits and BLO , then spray poly..Thanks for looking....Steve.

  9. Dave, I think that it pertains to the pattern and not the product...I give most of my work away to folks....I always give credit to the pattern designers of a piece !

Three Dragons cut from Poplar, Pine and a wood of unknown origin.....the one with the green backer is cut from pine and all were cut using Pegas #3 MG blades...Min Wax clear stain and spray poly finish..I have one more Fiona pattern of a Bee on comb that i am finishing up.....I have been working on her patterns for the last few weeks...Thanks for looking...Steve. Ps. i should mention all three are different sizes...did that on a whim and to fit the available wood.

  17. Paul, I got lucky and saw the floater early....I am finishing up the Bee on the honey comb and the double dragon...your idea of the live edge wood sounds good !
  18. This was cut in 1/2 poplar using 2/0 and 3/0 FD new spiral blades....Paul recently cut this in Oak and I like the oak a little better...Fiona's patterns are always a challenge...I do like the way this turned out....Thanks for looking.
  19. Paul, you are being a little tough on yourself....that is a fine project and the Oak is not easy to cut with that much detail..I cut that pattern in poplar and it was easier to work with....I do like the Oak !

  23. Vin, I think i probably have about 10 to 12 hours cutting time over 3 days...would work in spurts.
  24. Cut this in approx. 3/4 inch basswood with live edge....used 2/0 and 3/0 new spiral FD blades...Min wax natural stain and spray poly to finish....I love these Foliate patterns by Fiona Kingdon...I am finishing her Foliate Viking ....Thanks for lookling , Steve.
