MOONLIGHT DRIVE: I thought I'd get myself a new set of wheels, so I went into my shop and fired up my scrollsaw (after making the pattern) and came up with this little doozy of a vehicle. Sure I can't drive it around (but where am I going to go during this pandemic anyway), but I can dream. Free pattern of this vehicle.

I find light pictures and plaques should be ok. Don't plan on hanging by your hands on it.

Sawtooth Hanger Compound Cut Project Pattern You can go out and buy those metal sawtooth hangers when you have a picture or plaque to hang, but it is just as easy to make your own out of what you cut best -- wood. Download this Free pattern and project VIDEO here: http://baggetta.com/pebooks/FreePatternPage3.htm

If this puzzle looks a little bit odd, it's because it is. I call it a surface puzzle because the actual puzzle floats on the top of a backboard surface and locks into place by special pins at strategic points. So a flat puzzle with no real locking pieces can become a meaty stand up puzzle. See how to video and Download Here.

If you have been following my patterns for the scroll saw, you have probably noticed a common theme: Old. Yes, I'm old and love a lot of the things from the past, so you will probably have to put up with a lot of "old" patterns. Find out more and download free pattern.

Might be a good place for it.

Thanks you for the comments and I like the colors of your wands. They really vibrate.

Here's a fun historic project you might like working on. It is an ornamental old fashioned tavern sign with a 1776 label at the bottom. You might have seen a sign like this had ou been traveling on horseback through the country side in the old colonial days. Also included a video of the put together process. Current Issue of Scrollsaw Woodworking & Crafts Thought I'd let everyone know that the new issue of "Scrollsaw Woodworking & Crafts" is now (or will be soon) available on the newsstand. Lots of nice projects in it and they have also included one of mine on making wizard wands on the scroll saw, using the compound cutting technique. I came up with the idea after working on compound cut of different varieties, and was wondering if I could cut something nice and long. What better than a Wizard's Wand (can also be used as a pointer or conductor's baton). Well you can check out the article in the Fall issue #80 if you like. I'm also offering a special eBook of 16 wand patterns, in case you get the wand cutting bug. It is available for $3.50 in my Etsy store. https://www.etsy.com/listing/822012980/magic-wand-compound-cut-scroll-saw?ref=shop_home_active_1
