  2. I know this is probably not the place to ask this but I dont know where else to. I was wondering if anyone knew where bobscroll went I have not seen any patterns from him in a bit. I was wondering if everything was ok I hope so.

  4. Well I finally got this pattern cut and personalized for a wedding gift for my nephew. This is from a pattern by birchbark. It is cut from b/b ply. Thanx to all who helped, they loved it.

  6. Thanx for all the input guys. I do stack cut 2 pieces of 1/8 bb plywood and havent had issues maybe it is just some sub par ply. Am going to go down to a 2/0 blade and see how that goes. Thanx guys
  7. Hi guys, was wondering if anyone had some insight into a problem ive come across. I have cut some portraits from 1/8 inch bb plywood with #3 skip reverse blades and have been getting some tear out especially against the grain. I have a dewalt dw788 2nd version. Is there something im missing I have done others with no issues. Thanx for the help guys
  8. Well I finally finished cutting this pattern for my brother for christmas. The pattern was made by joleet, thank you so much he, s gonna love it. It was cut with #3 skip reverse blade on 1/8 bb plywood. Merry christmas all and god bless.

  10. This is the completed cutting of a pattern made by mahendra. This was done as a wedding present for the couple. Its done on bb ply with a #3 reverse tooth blade, thanx mahendra for the pattern they were very pleased

  13. Well big yellow is now in my shed and starting to make some sawdust. It is gonna take a little getting used to. I also have afew concerns. Is the table supposed to have any play in it I get some slop if I apply pressure to the outside edges it will move. Also seems to be sloppy side to side with a tight blade. Meaning pushing on the side of a tight blade it pushes in a bit is that normal. Maybe im just overreacting what do you guys think. I sure hope I didnt get a lemon that I have heard about.

  15. Well I am super excited, my wife let me order dw788 today and I should have it by the 4th. I need a pinch I must be dreaming, I didnt think I wojld ever get this saw. Any input on this saw for the village good or bad
  16. I think I have only been letting them dry overnite, I guess I need to allow more time. Im not sure on the humidity its still rather cool here in maine thanx guys
  17. Hi guys, I was wondering if those of you here in the village could help me out. I have using lemon oil to bring out the grain on some of my projects as does steve good. But I cant seem to seal it good enough as it bleeds out and stains things it touches. Any suggestions if you have dealt with this, thanx
  18. Just wanted to post a pic of the finished portrait from a pattern made for me here on the forum. I wanted to do this for a freind of mine whose dad passed away. I think it came out pretty good im sure he will like it. Thanx to all who made pstterns and god bless
  19. I too am using picture frames from dollar tree and walmart. I too have issues with the backing not quite closing with the 18 inch wood inside. Any suggestions? Also had some portraits warp in the sun at a show, any ideas would be apreciated.

  21. Hey guys I was wondering if you had sugestions for operating a saw indoors. The temps in my shed here in maind right now are not gery conducive to being out there, ie sub zero temps. I have a kerosene heater but just not enough. I also notice the saw does not like to operate in that cold either. Would like sugestions on using inside my trailer. How do I control sawdust, etc. Thanx guys

  23. This is the end result of a pattern made for me by phantom scroller. Its a rock formation in franconia new hampshire. It collapsed in may of 2000 or 2001. It was called the old man of the mountains. Thank you so much for the pattern, I think it came out great
