  5. Thx for your invite, yes it has the barrel clamps I think, ok are they like the new jet saw, I just recently bought the jet saw, it takes getting use to but I am getting better at it. Thx RJ
  6. Good evening, I came across a hawk 226vs saw for sale built in 2000, but hasn't been used the last 5 years, everything seems to work fine, just needs some clean up, do you think it is worth 250.00, thx RJ

  9. Thx for the information, I was watching a YouTube today and they say use deft, which I went to lowes web site and lacquer came up. The reason I thought of doing Puzzels was that they make great gifts, get a head start for next year, Thx RJ
  10. Good afternoon, I remember reading some where about when cutting a picture puzzle, that before cutting you should spray the the picture with a finish to protect it, but i can think of what it is, Thx RJ
  11. Not really a problem, I just feel that if you have to put the blade in the holder tighten down then put in bracket, would it be just as easy to put the blade in say a regular blade clamp, like the ex,etc, and tighten down. I feel like I am doing double work. But like Rolf said with this system you can have blades ready to go at all times. I guess it is something I have to get use to, as far as the saw goes it great, especially the top clamp, enjoy the holidays, RJ
  12. Thx for all the input, I figured it would just be like my old dw788, in which I would put the blade in bottom clamp and then just pull arm down and clamp, I guess the removal clamps are something I got to get use to. Yes I was looking at the hawk but at the time could not swing it, Rolf are you saying that your clamps come in and out like the jet bottom clamp deal, thx RJ
  13. Happy holidays, I don't like the bottom clamp deal on the new jet saw, other wise the saw is great. It may be something that I have to get use to. I was looking at both the new jet saw and Excalibur side by side and it looks like I could bolt the Excalibur bottom blade clamp assembly right on the jet. It would not change the feed operation any, anyone have any thoughts on this, thx RJ
  14. Merry Christmas and a happy healthy new year, RJ
  15. Glad to see you on the mend, you have to take care of yourself, I am not sure they have scroll saws in heaven, merry Christmas, RJ
  16. I was at woodcraft today, they had the jet and Excalibur side by side, looking at them close it looks to me if you wanted to change the bottom clamp from the jet style to the Excalibur style, I feel it would just bolt right up. I may order the part from seyco and try it, not a big fan of the jet setup, but like the rest of the saw, happy holidays, thx RJ
  17. I have the new jet saw, always been a bottom feeder, same with fishing would catch what's on the bottom, good or bad. As far as the saw goes, I only had a couple of weeks but like it so far, thx RJ
  18. That's beautiful, if you didn't live so far away, I would come for lessons on inlay, enjoy the holidays, thx RJ
  19. May santa bring all you want, and enjoy the holidays with your family, RJ

  23. I just purchased the new jet saw, not sold on it yet, the blade change deal is different. Grizzly has the dewalt 788 with stand and light for 495.00, shipping about 30.00, Thx RJ
  24. Do you use a different calendar than us, today is the 14th, I think or I lost a week, lol
