I'm trying to scroll after 6 years it's not going well. I used to have a great setup with a var. speed 16" delta. I set it up on a stand I could sit it a office desk chair my eye sight was better & I had better lighting. The saw I have now the stand is high so I have to stand or sit on a stool, my eye sight is not the best and the lighting sucks I don't think I can make a shorter stand because the motor is underneath the saw so I'll have to find a better stool, can't fix my eye sight,& I need to find a better light.

last month I bought a used total shop scroll saw which is this saw under an old name. I used it some seems like a nice saw little vibration and solid. I did buy the quick release for it need to put in on. it is limited on the speeds because it is belt driven but how many speeds to you need? I find comfortable speed and leave it.

joined up to hopfully learn what I forgot about scrolling from not scrolling for years and I want to learn how to make patterns
