Thanks again guys for the warm welcomes. Won't be starting any project for a couple of weeks as I have a hernia op on Friday but thought I'd join the forum early so I can read ideas and tips while I'm out of action as I'll be going stir crazy.

Hey guys, thanks for the welcome. My saw will probably be frowned upon but I chose it for two big reasons. Hello all, New to the forum and to scroll saws as an adult. Played with one in school at 11 a fair bit and loved it. Decided to invest in one this Christmas as I've got twin 14 month old boys and the price of pieces for the walls shocked me. I'm fairly handy and am working my way through redoing the finishing of the basement but am glad to have something to do besides chopping 2x4s. Don't think I'll be much use as far as contributing patterns and such but hopefully over time I can create something of interest.
