  1. Has anyone tried the Chimes of Normandy pattern from cherry tree?
  2. Started work on this 12 x 14 work area In the basement on Dec. 1, complete with dust collection system. Seems to be working quite well. Now back to projects.

    Steve Good pattern. Need to go shopping for a better frame.
  4. Judy Roberts pattern. Used Aspen with white gel stain, cedar, black cherry, western red cedar. The suggestion was to use the wonder wheel to mark out grooves in the headband. I tried this on some scrap pieces and just could not get it right.

    I have been doing Intarsia for about 2 years now. One of these Iris I did when I first began, the other I finished last month. Can you tell which is the latest, which do you like best the one on the left or right?
  7. Just finished this scroll saw piece. Used poplar, Iroka and cherry.
  8. Judy Roberts Pattern. I used Walnut, Aspen, Black Cherry, red cedar and curly maple. It is 15.5 x 11
  9. Judy Roberts pattern Used red heart, tzalam, hondorus mahogany, lyptus and gonsalaves. Can't "brag " too much, big boo boo on hind leg. Repaired my boo boo, not perfect but I think it is better.
  10. Worthington pattern. Blue pine, hondours mahognay, red heart, lyptus, black cherry, sycamore and paela. Made the frame from pine molding.
  11. Second project completed this month. Turns out to be a horse month.

  13. JUdy Roberts pattern, Wenge, cherry, aspen and walnut.

  15. A couple of fun scroll saw pieces.
  16. Hanging this piece is a challenge. I don't like that you can see the wire but the only alternative I can see is two hangers but they would be at different heights and would be really difficult to hang straight .
  17. This sleigh is from a Worthington house pattern,, at intarsia.net. It is named Christmas Sleigh.

  22. I have only used spiral blades a couple of times. I seem to have difficulty in securing the blades up to the saw especially the bottom. Keeps slipping out. Is there a preferred method to putting in these spirals? Rick
