    Thanks Ralph.Yes they are cut at five degrees, table titled to the left.To get them to raise you have to cut COUNTERCLOCKWISE. For a recess you cut clockwise. For example in the name price,the circle parts of the letters P and R I cut the circles clockwise first.Then the letter counterclockwise. You can play with the angle to get the raise you want.I used 5 degrees this time because of the number of letters in name.Most times I use 7 degrees. It is great fun because you can paint the letters separately. One more thing is when I use stain on the body,I finish just the body with spar varnish.If you put spar on the white letters it will turn them yellow. Give it a try and you will see how easy it is and I am sure you will love doing them.

    Thanks Roly,yes almost an inlay but there is a raise approx 1/8 th inch.

    Two young girls asked me to make signs of their horses names. They wanted the names with an intersecting word. Story on one is five buck,apparently that is what she paid for this horse,actually its a pony. I made a western shape for the design....I can't wait for Sunday to give them to them. Still need one more coat of poly.

    Very nicely done Peter..I love the shape you used. Lot better than oval and square.Funny,last night on facebook someone had a video on with a cockatoo dancing to someone playing a guitar...he put on quite a show. This bird was all white no yellow cap or tail.

    Good going Kevin.It is always great to get some orders.I get them ready for the market on each Sunday.The ones I rush to get done,the customer doesn't show up that week. In the dollar store,I buy these artist paint brushes. about 10 in pack. Great for touch ups and surprise,they do last a while.

    She is my girl friend..Her name is spelled Magee,the G is not a cap as inyour wife's name.Irish name.I always sing to her Me and Cathy Magee not Bobby Magee.lol

    Nice ornaments Jerry..sorry to hear about your back. A few years ago I held back a sneeze,I was a wreck for near a year. Then one day it was gone, don't know why but it felt some good.

    Four name and address signs this week. Three stained and one painted.two with eagles. a german shepard and bichon friese dogs. all approximately 18 inche by 5.5 inches...Slightly raised the letters.Went about 5 degrees because of the number of letters in sign. The letter s in prices looks slanted but it is not...must be the way I took picture.
