I just bought this saw last week. It replaced a pin in only Craftsman that was probably 15 years old.
I've cut a couple project and I like the saw. The pin in blades are easy to change with no tools. The pinless blades are a different story, it comes with a T-alan wrench that you have to use. The underside blade holder assembly is a pain in the backside to get right with pinless blades. Or, maybe I just need more practice doing it, IDK.
Overall, it's much quieter with less vibration and it comes with an air thingy to blow the chips away. It does not come with a work light. I got a $14 LED light from Walmart took the base off and hung it above the saw, works great.
It's entry level I think, certainly not built like a DW tool but that's not what you're paying for.
