  1. That is what happens to me to. It cuts part of the other side of the pattern which looks just like the one you have.
  2. Thank you Bob for giving it a try. I thought I was going crazy there for a minute. I had sent Steve an email about it but I never heard back.So I guess it's got to be the pattern.
  3. Has to be something with the pattern then.
  4. Hi Kevin, I don't have a problem with the name part at all. I cut that part out fine. It's when I try and cut the two ends is where I'm having the problem.
  5. Hi Brenda, That's the way I do it all the time. I didn't have a problem cutting out the name part, it was when I tried to cut the two ends. It would cut off part of one side of the pattern especially where the tab is.
  6. I did that. I cut the wood to fit the pattern. I ended up squaring up the ends and then rounded them off on the sander. Just couldn't get the end cuts right.
  7. Thanks Dan. Everyone seems to think I have a problem cutting the name out. I don't have a problem with that part. It's the two ends that I can't figure out.
  8. Not yet. I ended up just cutting it square. Kyle Busch is a race car driver.
  9. Denny, I don't have a problem cutting the inside cuts, it's when I cut the top and bottom. If I follow the pattern where the curve part is and follow the line it cuts into the side of the other part of the pattern.
  10. It's one inch for a key chain.
  11. Dumb question. I just for the life of me, I can't seem to cut this pattern. Is there a special way to do this. When I fold the pattern and put it on the wood and try to cut the top or the bottom, it cuts part of the pattern on the other side. I know I'm doing something wrong. Can someone figure this out for me. Thanks, Ralph.
  12. Nice job on that Steve.
  13. Great job Dick. Nothing like beating the rush for Christmas.
  14. Boy Frank, that looks like a tuff one to do.
  15. Looks pretty good Frank. I like the colors.
  16. Just put the update on. Check it out. Blade alinement and table alinement.
  17. Quick update. I replaced all the clamp parts and realined the blade and found out that the adjusting knob under the table wasn't right on zero either. I guess the red pointer was off a little to. After adjusting everything I finished cutting the rest of the 7/8 puzzle pattern and everything was right on. I want to thank everyone for there great advice and Jim for his blade clamp setup. Thanks again.
  18. I finally got it lined up. I put a pegas #5 in there also and adjusted everything. Looking good.
  19. Kevin, I just went out there and did what you said. I cut into a block of wood and it looks like it' a hair off. Not really that much but I guess it doesn't take much. The piece of wood I used with the pencil mark seem to line up but the cut one doesn't. I guess the cut one is the way to go. Seems more accurate.I'll put the new clamp parts in tomorrow and reset everything. I'll let everyone know how I make out. Thanks again.
  20. ThanksKevin. I'll check that to.
  21. Thanks Jess. It looks like the blade is square. I've cut 3/4 poplar for puzzles without a problem. Something has to be off somewhere. I bought some new parts for the clamps so I'll change them and see what happens.
  22. I'll have to check that. I bought some new parts for the clamps but I haven't put them in yet. I'll give that a try. Thanks.
  23. I squared up a small piece of wood and drew a straight line with a pencil and lined it up with the blade. Lined up perfect.
  24. Just went out and put a #7 Ur in there and I'm still having the same problem. I think I'm going slow. Maybe I need to go slower.
