  1. I have done several of these military circles and always get a little chill when i hand them over to the owner. There is always seems to be a great sense of pride on both sides of that deal.
  2. That pain in the but project looks like it lives up to the name. It came out very nice looking.
  3. Local boy scout's asked me to create a sign for one of their lodges. The dimensions they asked for was 4' by 3' and an image of a cypress tree. Started with a 2" x 8" x 12' rough cut cypress board ripped and planed to various thicknesses. Here I what I came up with.
  4. Looks very rock worthy any fan will really appreciate that.
  5. I have used a simaliar method setting the wood with the bulge up on a flat surface placing a damp towel over the entire piece and letting it "cook" for a few hours. I usually check on it every 45 minutes or so. If you leave it too long it can/will cause other warping problems.
  6. As you are putting the last coat of varnish on the wife will come by and say... "Wouldn't that have been better with..."

  10. I was inspired by all the posts about intersecting word art, so I followed the class provided on this forum (which was incredible thanks for that) and this is what I came up with. Learned a lot and sure the next one will be better. Thank again for the tutorial.
  11. Took the words right out of my mouth, the projects I dislike the most tend to get the most requests.

  14. Nice looking plaque I am sure hey will cherish it forever. I can certainly agree with the saying.
