I am in need of a last minute idea or pattern for a Christmas present for the folks. Was thinking about some type of family tree in which I could include names and dates of births for all the family members. Any help is much appreciated.

Very nice. I am new to the forum and have a question about the technique. How is the back (the red part) made. Is it the same size and material as the rest of the box and just painted and glued on? or is it recessed somehow?
