  1. Hi everyone, greetings from England! I've been asked to scroll a name, it's seven letters long and the request is for a different wood for each letter - no problem so far. The customer wants individual letters that can be handled and shown around, but would also like the letters to be able to sit in some sort of rack or stand. The first thing that came to mind was to simply use a block with a shallow grove cut in it where the letters could sit. Anyone have any different ideas or thoughts on this project and how I can show the letters off in a stand? Thank you Neil
  2. Hi Dave, thanks for your comments. It's 1 and 7/8 thick. Neil
  3. Hi All My first post here so go gentle with me! This is an oak leaf box I made for a friend who had been unwell, it's in ash and mahogany it's about 6 inches long by 4 inches wide. I am quite interested in pyrography so I have also done a little wood burning on the underside. Hope you like it Neil
  4. Hi all Been scrolling for a few years now, after struggling with a few cheaper machines I upgraded and now use a Hegner - probably the best thing I ever done and my work has much improved. I enjoy most aspects of scrolling but have yet to try intarsia, and I would like to learn to design my own patterns. Looks a great forum and I look forward to hanging around!
