  1. That looks nicer than some people I know. Great pattern and excellent cutting.
  2. That is beautiful Work!
  3. You've Done so well Marge. The fonts are great and I presume you made the patterns.
  4. Thank you for all the responses. I was not speaking of orbital sanders but vertical spindle oscillating sanders. Rigid appears to get the vote. I need the smallest footprint I can find. Not sure if I will invest in one due to lack of space and real need. I've also considered the sanding spindles for the drill press. However without the oscillating feature it becomes just straight line sanding. It is still under advisement.
  5. WOW! Way above my pay grade. That is beautiful! You have more patients than a doctor.
  6. Anyone here using one and how do you like it? My usage will be very limited. I do not build things, I just scroll light projects.
  7. Thank you Alex. Yes, I am very familiar with contact cement. Years ago we used lots of it in my art department.
  8. That is the coolest thing! What is the glue you use with a brush?
  9. Really cool pattern and nicely presented.
  10. I cut 1/2" oak from Lowe's or HF. It cuts ok for me with a #1 Pegas mg blade. Don't know what kind of oak it is. Hoping someone will tell me. It has been explained on here before but I forget.
  11. I don't have an EX so the repair means little to me. I do, however, enjoy seeing things out of the box. You have done great in that area. Also you made an excellent video. I am hearing impaired but the audio was clear and your photography is excellent. I enjoyed watching it.
  12. Very nice! I thought the librarian's creed was this: When I was a kid my teacher told me never to crimp the page corners of a book be cause the book would be hurt and cry. Oh what the heck, what did she know?
  13. I'll second that. I buy it from HF by the gallon.
  14. So many victims. Sad to know about your loss but grateful your life is spared. Also glad you can salvage something. Hopefully your luck will be good from now on.
  15. I don't know of an adhesive which would be strong enough with a butt weld to withstand the weight of my foot. Easier to have someone to just help me to replace the board with a longer one.
  16. Thanks. I cut lots of pine. Something I can afford and cuts easily.
  17. I know all about that! Well done. What is the wood you used?
  18. Those are cute for sure.
  19. Very nice cutting! Did you make the pattern?
  20. You've done a wonderful job!
  21. Those are beautiful.
  22. That's gorgeous Dave!
  23. Hi Ray. Don't want to beat a dead horse but just for your info my stool height is from 19" up to 24". I sit with the stool at 21". Floor to saw table is 42" Yes, my chin is close to the table. If my lamp had a 2X diopter lens I could sit up more.
  24. Talking about foot switches I screwed up. Should have made the board five inches longer to mount the switch. I would like to make that change but would need someone to do that. I no longer have the strength to muscle the saw around. In the meantime I just chase the switch with my foot.
