  1. Beautiful job there Marg! Great patterns as always, Fab4 and Birchbark!
  2. Personally, I'd stain the wood to a darker brown to simulate the nest being on a tree and leave the backer nice and bright for contrast, without any additional colours. It looks great in my minds eye, but it can also turn out the other way so practice on the back if tempted ;D I Really like the quality of your cuts! Have a go at something properly difficult next, I'm pretty sure you'll amaze us all as much as yourself Marcin
  3. Oh my, I'd love to get my hands on that deal! Pity I just wasted €400 on PlayStation VR- word of warning for anyone wanting to buy it as a gift, the ex-16 will be a much better option They cheapest ex-16 I found here in Ireland is €950 without the table
  4. Fantastic news- thank you very much for clarifying this for me. And also thank you for your compliments about my work - it means a great deal
  5. Thank you very much all! I have now updated my signature to include a link to my gallery so feel free to visit and comment! Thank you very much for your input gents! I did indeed consider contacting the website's owner in this regard and am now convinced to do so
  6. Just wanted to say hello to everybody and say a little about myself before I start posting on this forum. My name is Marcin Witkowski and I am a Polish national living in Ireland since 2005. I was on a lookout for a hobby that would allow me to create unique, handmade objects that few others do. I have a very analytical mind and proper attention to detail. After many failed attempts at others, Scroll Saw became my absolute favourite thing to do ever since I demonstration video on YouTube by the Woodworking guild of America (I think). I use a generic, sub €200 scroll saw with variety of blades, but mostly #2/0 reverse skip tooth. I started scrolling in May of this year. Anyways, I will mostly post pictures of my finished projects. The one question I do have is regarding selling the finished product that is based on someone else's templates? I will not sell a single project until I know that I am not stealing from anyone, so does buyng a pattern online allow me to sell the finished product? Many thanks for any input you all may have and I hope you have a great day! Marcin Witkowski
