    Excalibur EX-30

I bought mine 13 years ago from Somerville Industries. I have modified it somewhat to suit my needs but overall it is a very good saw. If I was to buy today I would get a 21 instead of a 30.
  2. Thanks for all the good reviews, that makes me feel good.
  3. Here's a few more pictures that I have done. The latest and by far the most difficult is the cheetah. It is from a pattern by Jeff Zaffino and I was working on it on and off for more than a year. I'm glad it's finally finished, I'm very pleased with the end result.
  4. A trick I use to remove fuzzies is to go over VERY quickly with a propane torch with a very low flame. It takes a little getting used to doing it but it works. I learnt this from a Jeff Zaffino tutorial dvd. I use spiral blades 99% of the time so I always get fuzzies. Its just a case of practicing, its not difficult.
  5. Hi, the Pagoda pattern is by Mick Shambro from 2008, I bought it on line.
  6. Hi Everyone, I'm glad my "stuff" is well received, I still haven't located my clock book however I did buy it online so maybe with a bit of luck and a bit of patience you may be able to find it. Mike.
  7. Hi Merlin, I got the pattern for that clock out of a book of clock patterns Unfortunately I cannot lay my hands on it at the moment but I will keep looking for it and will get you the information you need as soon as I can. It is a great pattern to work with, I made four of them altogether, they made terrific Xmas gifts. Mike,
  8. These are some of the things I have done over the last few years, hope you like them.
  9. Beautiful work, I would like to try that one myself one day (soon I hope) Keep up the good work.
  10. I'm glad you folks like my picture, if I remember correctly, that one took about 2 months to cut. I have others that took longer. I guess i just have enough patience. I can only manage 1to2 hours a day now before I have to quit.
  11. I am not sure what I am doing here but I am trying to show the springer spaniel I cut a few years ago. I like it so much that I framed it and I have it on my living room wall. I hope some of you will like it too. The pattern is one from Jeff Zaffino, i have done a few of his patterns but I can't find them anymore.
  12. Hi from Ontario. I have been scrolling for about 15 years but i had to take a break for about 4 years when I moved to my present location. I'm getting back lnto the groove again and enjoying every minute of it. Ilook foreward to joining in some discussions.
