A complicated process may be an old wives' tale but I have heard that a blast of compressed air just before closing prevents skim over. Commercial dusters don't really show just what they contain and the risk of splashback is there doing it. A lengthy page about this that cites Benjamin Moore on this topic is here https://www.google.com/patents/US5911251 I'm not a chemical engineer but just about everyone will have experienced skim over on a partially used finishing product.
Living near the US / Canada border, getting Canadian Beer here is not an issue I should buy stock in Labatt, Keith's from Nova Scotia is a little harder to find but one of my favorites. Sorry AB I'm Drinking Canadian.
Posted my 1st project to user gallery, I'm new to this board so it may take a little getting accustomed to. somehow one image is doubled I probably uploaded the incorrect file. May attempt to edit but it is out there for now. The flag was the 2nd or 3rd item that I cut out after purchasing the DeWalt. I'd say that I'm happy with the result.
