New guy here, but not new to woodworking. I have been building stage productions for 30 years. Recently became interested in building wooden gear clocks. I plan to retire in a couple of years and I think I might enjoy building clocks. I teach stagecraft at a university and have access to just about every tool you could imagine. I am setting up my shop at home to build clocks but I have not purchased a scroll saw yet. I don't want to invest a fortune in case I decide I do not like it. I hope to learn from the forum and look forward to participating. StageTech
