Hello,
I just purchased a used 1986 Hegner Multimax-2 for a nice price. Perfect condition.
Since the saw is older and I don't know how often the arm bushings were oiled, do any of you see any harm in unscrewing the arm support bolts to remove both the upper and lower arms to inspect the bushings, clean them and oil them? Or would you just drop a little 3 in 1 and call it good?
How about the connector arm and flywheel? Take apart and clean? Do these require any periodic oil or do they use a sealed bearing?
I have read the manual and it says nothing about taking apart to inspect.
Thanks,
Nate
