Unfortunately I am all the way down here in Florida. So far I have been making a lot of things out of 3/4 inch wood such as animals, crosses, sled centerpieces and variety of other random things like that, not to much intricate work. I am trying to find something that cuts smooth with little vibration that I can depend on long term. It looks like this new king could be a nice option, however, I wish I had more user feedback on it like a lot of the older saws do. I can order it from woodworks but they do not accept returns on power tools from what I read, so I don't want to spend $650 with shipping and then be stuck with a poor product. Thank you for the reply, I still have so much to learn!

I am ready to upgrade from my starter saw and I am trying to decide if I should buy this? I have done a ton of research, I don't have the money for something in the $800 range, I was wondering if this 16-inch is too good to be true, but I am unable to find any reviews and don't live near a woodcraft, I don't want to be stuck with something that isn't worth the money. I am cashing in all of my tool buying points with the wife to get a saw in the middle price range so I need something that will really last and function well. I tried the dewalt but had a ton of trouble with vertical blade movement, which apparently is a problem with the type 2. Any information you can provide on your experience with this will be greatly appreciated!! The first review is already the most info I have found.
