Adult daycare. I hope someone places me in that kind of daycare someday. I have never seen a place like that before. Is it a community effort or co-op?

Hi from another newbie, I have the same Dewalt saw and have had it for around a year, but still learning and this looks to be a great place for support.

Thanks, I agree and would start with something very simple first. I made some simple animal kids puzzles. That might be a start to try shaping. It might be some time before I get around to It, most of my shop time is through the winter colder months.

Hi, I am new to all this and want to try intarsia. Maybe a stupid question but what is meant by segmentation opposed to intarsia. The examples above look like the same thing to this newbie.

Hi, just joined this group. I am from Kelowna BC Canada.I have had my Dewalt scroll saw for about a year now and have played around with making plaques and puzzles and not much else. I do other woodworking and have a Power Matic lathe that I use lots and also have built some furniture. I am not doing too much now as spring has sprung and the yard has my attention. Looking forward to hanging around this forum and seeing what others are up to.
