What I have done is print my PNG patterns to PDF. PDF files are about 1/4 the size of PNG files and in B/W prints for scrolling the same as a PNG print out. Another option - There are conversion options online as well that will convert a PNG to JPG for free.

Well, based on my experience the first thing I would look at is a dull router bit, which is usually the culprit. Once sharpened I would route the project a second time which usually helps in the reduction of sanding needed. Router speed and feed rate do play an important role as well. That being said I then resign myself to the fact that there will be a lot of sanding to do.

Thought I would follow up with my decision on replacing OEM blade holder. I went with the Dewalt version of the Pegas blade holder. Installation took about 10 minutes. And I did experience a noticeable reduction in vibration. Downside to this is that I have postponed the purchase of a Pegas or Seyco Saw, for now. Couldn't decide which I wanted anyway. Thanks to all for your input.

I experienced a similar problem with the knocking noise and excess vibration on my EX-21 2006 Green Machine. Not so much at the lowest setting but much more so at medium to higher speeds. The first thing I did was install the Pegas blade holder believing that was the issue as the OEM holders had some play in it. The Pegas blade holders reduced the excess vibration significantly. And the knocking noise was reduced but not enough to my liking. So the next thing I did was tighten the two screws on the left side. They are listed as #EX-A56 according to the manuals diagram. One of these two screws is visible in the first photo at bottom right. As I recall the top screw tightened up the arm making lifting a little tight so I loosened that just a bit. After tightening both screws I found the sweet spot where the arm lifted easily but the knocking disappeared. (I had gotten this tip from Ray at Seyco). So far all is good. Question for you is...has the motor ever been removed/replaced? This would play a part in the knocking noise as well if not replaced as originally installed.

@octoolguy, Interesting you brought that up as I was considering if that would work. Decided to ask the question on this site before proceeding. dgman directed me to the Pegas set without the tension lever, which seems to make sense and hopefully the rocker spacing is the same. I will give that a try first as they are less expensive than the lever style listed for the EX. Thanks much to both of you.

dgman - my EX21 is Green, which if I recall was General Canada. I have looked at the replacement clamps for the DeWALT but didn't think they would work on the EX21 due to the front rocker spacing. Just assuming.

I have the pre-2010 EX21 which has the tension lever toward the front, located on the right side. Will the Pegas Blade Clamp work on this older model? The original blade clamps have a little side to side play. Noticed only a little loss in control while cutting so not a big concern yet. Some fine fretwork being planned in the near future so I want to be prepared to replace when the time comes. So, I have the option of replacing, if necessary, with OEM from Ray Seymore or installing the Pegas blade clamp. I have heard and read so many positives about the Pegas that I am leaning toward trying them out.
