  1. What font name is that you use. I like the idea of no islands
  2. How do you hide the pilot hole. They look very clean cut
  3. Wow that looks very crisp nice clean lines.
  4. Hi all If you need a photo converted TD is the man for the job. Here is finished pattern he did for me from a photo I sent him..
  5. Just noticed the fathers day one was not finished. Here is the finished one with the letter in fills.
  6. That sort of thing but more solid no holes. Ideally I want it to look a bit like a Atlas stone
  7. Different materials used. The roof has a piece of laminet to help water proof the ply used under it. The door and the ring round the bird hole is made from plastic laminet flooring. The yellow bits on the floors are made from sprayed yellow drawing pins
  8. The whole covid thing is getting a joke now, I know if i was 90 I would rather see my son than be kept apart. At 90 I would be counting my days and having my family stopped from seeing me would drive me nuts. Wish you and your family well and hope you get to see your dad soon. Your lock down sounds worse than ours here in the UK.
  9. Nice work. I made this ages ago for my dad not much scroll saw but i thougt you might like it. I did scroll the little anker though
  10. Hi all here's is what I have done for fathers day.
  11. Hi any one know where I can get a free 3d ball pattern.
  12. HI

Your record looks well cool what did you to cut it. I have tried in the past and I found the record just broke in to little bits as I tried to cut it. Tips on doing this would be most welcomed.

I am adding to this because I just started cutting a record and it was very difficult. I added piece of thin cardboard (from an empty cereal box) to the back. It helped tremendously!

Thx I have smaller blades now so I will have another go soon.

Adding the cardboard with packing tape over it was a blessing. Change blades often, I rotated between a few, they get hot and melt the record back together.

  13. That looks bad. Always follow the gold rule hands and fingers behind the blade. I had mis hap with a electric drill. I was pressing to hard on the drill and the bit snapped and the piece still in the drill went through my nail and out the other side. Pulled drill bit out and washed finger and taped up with electical tape LOL.
  14. Thats great work. Scrolling letters is one of the hardest things to do with a scroll saw I feel.
  15. How do you scroll something that big your scroll must have a really big throat.

Hi all Not sure if I have posted this before. Made it awhile ago for my girlfriend to give to her daughter when she went to uni.
  18. Not sure what wood the butterfly is. It was made from about 5 small strips but joined togther then sanded to make one large plank. Sprayed with varnish after cuttining. Backing board is birch ply. With a Pine stand which just happened to have the perfect size groove already in it:)
  19. Hi All Made a shadow butterfly another one of steves patterns
  20. I still need to have a go at compound cutting
  21. Thats looks well cool. Letters are almost like they have been laser cut
  22. A little lemmings education. Its a fantastic puzzle game
  23. I made the lemming awhile ago. I though he would look even more cool with the lemming logo. Made cool spot to the left awhile a go as well. I belive i did him with a jig saw before my dad brought me a scroll saw..
  24. Here is Garfield abit more finished not sure what else to do to it now. Think I might change the clock hand colour
