    I just joined and am happy to be here, so thanks, Admins! I started just a couple years ago and purchased a Wen as my first scroll saw. I would have been happy with that as a beginner with no experience. But then my husband, Lee, and I were at the local pawn shop and saw this huge thing on a stand near the front. I knew nothing of brands of saws, so I read the sign on the side..."$120 as is. Doesn't run." I got my phone out and looked it up and it was an RBI Hawk Ultra 226v. Lee said "I bet I can get this running in 15 minutes." So we took a chance and bought it. He got it running like butta in 10, haha. I have used it for almost two years now and am completely addicted. We make signs and other creative things. We get really excited about found wood and fencing and repurposing something on its way to the dump. I love my scroll saw story because I really wasn't worthy of that saw. Linda
