I saw that too! I think it's either a discontinued item or the website is wrong. I couldn't see any pictures of the 900 one and it gave a 404 error when I clicked on it. The actual tool is the Marathon that's made in Korea. That's a better price though on Amazon than the marathon, plus you won't have to wait on customs if shipping outside Canada.

I'm not sure on that one, sorry.

I just got one about a month ago (strangely the same time I started doing segmentation/intarsia) and I have to say I love it. It accepts bits from my dremmel tool pack and makes sanding over edges a snap. My first segmentation project I sanded by hand as my dremmel was way to bulky to do it effectively and the second project I used the rotary and it was a night and day difference. The foot pedal is great and the tool is very easy to hold in your hand like a pencil. Bits also can be swapped out in about 5 seconds. My only con I have so far is the quick disconnect for bits. When you tighten the bit by torquing the tool in two different directions, it is loose when locked and tight when open. Just seems like it should be the other way around, but it doesn't interfere with using it. If you end up getting it I hope you enjoy it. Cheers

My first segmentation project as a housewarming present for some family friends. I wasn't a fan of the black wood stain that I used so if I do it again I'll probably make the cat mat black. I got the design from Shelia Landry's website. https://sheilalandrydesigns.com/

A little project I did for the wife after she saw something similar at a Kohls. She wanted to buy it and I refused claiming I could do better! The top piece miter joints were a little off, but I'm probably going to change the top out so I can put an empty bottle of wine inside it with the lights in the bottle.

Very nice. Being that it's outside, what kind of wood and topcoat did you use?

Awesome work and thanks for the in depth explanation with pictures. Posts like this help newbies to intarsia (me!) understand it much better. Great job!
