  1. A vent bringing cool air in front of the back brakes is to help cool the brakes off. Kinda like the old vent windows on most 60's cars
  2. I made these animals for my wife and grandkids. My middle grandson didn't want a animal he wanted a Ferrari. So being a good Papa I made this attempt after it was glued up I realized I had forgotten to cutout the brake vent.....

    Trucks

The trucks are almost done, a final sand, and finish. The best part is they roll straight with the trailer!

  20. I would like to ask if one of you talented pattern makers could make a portrait pattern of this. I want to make this for both my granddaughters for Christmas, Thank you for any help.
  21. Thank you! I used to make some real intricate patterns, it is a little disheartening to not go right back to that stage but with more practice I will get back. I agree it needs a little more space.
  22. After 25 years I started on a "used to be easy" pattern, WOW am I ever rusty. I was making this for my grandson for Xmas, so many mistakes and I need a magnifing glass and light to help (getting old is not fun). I will go back and straighten this up!
