  1. Denny, I just ordered them. Thank you for the quick response. After searching the web I thought I was going to have to wait a few months. And to top it off your price was excellent.
  2. Thanks everyone for the quick response. The problem with the original chucks is they are separating from being tightened all these years and I can only squeeze them with pliers only so many times. Denny I can wait and will be ordering them from you.
  3. Thanks Denny. My Excalibur is 7 years old and the original chucks are not holding very well. I've cleaned and adjusted them but apparently they are at the end of their time. I should have ordered earlier. Right now I'm in the Christmas rush. I would prefer to purchase them from someone on the Village so do you have a time frame as to when you will get them in stock.
  4. Does any one know where I can get a set of Pegas Chuck Heads for my Excaliber 16. Everybody seems to have them only for Dewalt and Delta.
  5. Dave, long time lurker here. Not sure if this will help, but I had the same problem. On the back of the saw there is a nut that holds the tilt mechanisim from slipping. Mine had come loose and was causing the tilt mechanism to ever so slightly move. You can tell by grabbing the tilt wheel and trying to turn it when in another setting besides zero. The table should not move. Ed
  6. Heppnerguy, The pattern is in the Fall 2017 issue of Scrollsaw Woodworking and Crafts. ED

  8. Travis, I am one who uses ad block. I am a tradesman and belong to many sites and you must have ad block or you cannot read the pages. I just leave it on. I took your suggestion and turned it off on this website and found the ads to not get in theway as other websites. It will be left off on this site. By the way I really love this site. I have been scrolling for over 20 years and although I don't partiipate it the chats I come away with a lot of information. Keep up the good work. Ad Blocker OFF.
  9. old guy 76. I've been lurking on this site for a while. Time to post. I saved for a new dewalt 788 and the first one started knocking two days after using it. Took it to the Dewalt repair center they had it for a week. It ran for three days and started knocking again. Took it back and they gave me a new one. This one had the same problem as yours the table rocks no matter how tight you make it, also the front ot back blade movement was 1/8 of an inch front to back. Took it back and they said it was the nature of the beast and could not fix it and for me to live with it. I got my money back and splurged on an excalibur 16 inch. Its like night and day no front to back movement and so quiet I can turn on a radio. AT one time Dewalt used to mean quality now it means made in China.
