    I have been using a previous version of Ornaments for Charity since September 1st and have used a couple of others. To date, I've made several hundred of these ornaments and have raised $2, 460 for Project Ryan. I started this project in memory of my son Ryan who was severely disabled and passed away 2 years ago. We have been featured on local community TV and have also been featured in our local community newspaper. If you want to learn more you can visit our facebook page titled "Project Ryan". It has truly been a very exhausting but rewarding experience. Our project will run until September 1 of 2019. Our goal is $5,000. The concept of this project was the seed that Ornaments For Charity had planted into the back of my head. For this, I thank you with all my heart. The wonderful stories that I can now share of the hearts that we have touched with our ornaments is amazing. - I just wanted you to know the positive difference you have made with your Ornaments for Charity.     As others do, I do the same. Needle files and a sanding mop. Amazon.ca has a very cheap sanding mop that sells for $7.90 Canadian. However it does comes from China and arrives in 4 to 6 weeks. But for the price it works great. I just ordered 3 more of them last week.

    Had to weak mine also and continually need to make very minor adjustments to keep the arm up when raised. I found that sometimes just a very minor turn on the adjustment screw is quite adequate. Don't give up on it as it is a real darn good saw once your used to it.

    A question regarding the Excalibur 21" saw. It is 10 years old with medium usage. I bought it from Ottawa Fasteners here in Ontario Canada and am very happy with it. However, recently it has developed a thumping type of vibration when putting pressure on the blade. Such as when cutting a corner. The thumping sometimes remains or at other times it goes away. So this tells me, it should be looked at. I live in Cornwall, Ontario which is an hour away from Ottawa or Montreal Quebec. Does anyone know of a qualified place where I can either have it looked at or repaired? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'd even ship it somewhere if I had to. Mike

    Hi Terry, I have the EX-21 also and a proper light for it has always been my dilemma. You stated you got yours from Amazon. What is your light called. Make or model would be helpful. Thank you.

    Hey Bigtom, the reply from papabrett2011 could have been written by me. I started with a single speed 16" Ryobi and used it for a few years. I guess you could call it "learning the trade". But it broke blades galore and every time it did, it scared the beejesus out of me. I ended up quitting scrolling for a few years, but the desire to scroll gnawed at me. Like papabrett, I bit the bullet and bought an Excalibur 21" and WOW, what a difference. I very seldom ever break blades anymore, and if I do, I hardly notice it. No more vibration either. I still have my Ryobi though and use it at the cottage. Good luck. Mike
