  1. Thanks to all who helped me out with my problem of blade slippage. No problems at all now. The solution was two-fold. First I tightened the set screw which I didn't even know existed. That may have solved my problem all by itself. But I also bought the Seyco thumbscrew blade tighteners which have the unique feature of the end not turning once you tighten in the blade. Too expensive, but it works.
  2. I have been having serious trouble holding my number 2 blades in my Dewalt saw. I tighten them and they slip out again and again and again. I've tried everything I can think of. Any ideas?
  3. I have been scrolling for about a year and I love it. Would rather scroll than watch TV. I'm not great, but I'm getting better all the time. I am a retired minister, so I have time on my hands. I enjoy giving away the stuff that I make. My wife and I spend Jan and Feb in Mesa, AZ at Val Vista Village. They have a nice shop and some great guys that taught me a lot. I do have a problem now that I'm hoping you can help me with. I am having trouble holding my small blades in my lower blade holder. My saw is a DeWalt and is about a year old. Could something be worn out? Is there a trick to this that I am not aware of? Larger blades are no problem.
  4. Help! I am having a terrible time getting my lower blade holder to grip my small size scroll saw blades. My saw is a year old ... a DeWalt. Could something be worn out?
