  1. Hello, - the BEST arm support for the Dewalt 788 and Delta 40-690 scroll saws 40 - 5 STAR reviews on my website 7 - 5 STAR reviews on Amazon.com Update: 1/23/16 - For those of you who are thinking about getting a "Lifter", I have extended the 10% discount until 12/31/16. Just use the code - village - (no dashes) at checkout time. I've been scrolling for about 6 years now using a Dewalt 788. I cut pretty much any type of pattern that sounds interesting and fun. I'm getting ready to start a wooden pendulum clock. It looks like a challenge. We'll see how it goes. Because of the problem of holding my Dewalt saw arm in the "up" position I decided to see if I could come up with something that would work better than the solutions I've seen on the market. So I created a latching system that I call "The LIFTER". I use it every day on my saw and I like it so much that I thought maybe other scrollers might like it too. So I've added it to my website: www.papasworkshop.org If it's something that you might be interested in, please check it out. I put a short video on the site so you can see how it works and also how to install it. I'd really appreciate any comments you might have about "The LIFTER". Positive or negative. If there's any way that it should be improved, I'd appreciate hearing from you. And for Scroll Saw Village members I'm offering a 10% discount for the rest of 2015. When checking out just put the word village in the Voucher section. Thanks Frank www.papasworkshop.org P.S. If you're thinking about trying The LIFTER and have some questions, please feel free to call me at 619-322-4568.
