  1. Hi there, I have scoured the internet trying to find an answer to my issue or even someone who has experienced the same issues I’m having with my dewalt 788. I purchased it new in March of 2019. I use it fairly often but average about 5-10 hours per week of cutting. I had to take it to factory repair in the summer ( after owning it for 2 months) because in the middle of a project it stopped working. I moved from one pilot hole to another and it wouldn’t turn on. They replaced the switch and that was that. Now it’s happened again however this time is different, the saw will start to sputter and I could hear by the sound of it that something was wrong. It stopped working again. My father in law happened to be in here that evening and for some reason pushed down on the top blade holder arm and the thing started going again. It isn’t useable as just as soon as it gets going again if you attempt to cut anything it sputters and slows down until it stops again and the only way to restart it is by pushing on the arm. Im at a loss as to what could be happening, dewalt factory service isn’t open until Monday and is over 2 hours drive each way so I was really hoping to find something to try and attempt to make this useable this weekend. 2. I purchased my first scroll saw today. I was heading out to buy a new DW788 but decided to check out Craigslist first. I found the DW788 20 inch saw for $325 and it looked good so I went and picked it up. I took it home and tried it out but it wouldn't cut. I noticed my bade was VERY loose. I realized their was no tension screw where the blade sits in the bottom (don't know what its called). Is there a special screw required for this or can I find one that fits and use it. I somehow doubt that, but thought I would check here first. A premature thanks,
  3. Completely completed. I've taken the time to photo each duck call and then post them on a FaceBook page I set up. The page is still just an 'infant' in the world od FaceBook pages, so I'll just have to keep promoting it and see where it goes. So proud of my wife and the great job....errrr, I mean fun she had doing this one. BTW, if anyone is looking..... Scott (did you hear about the Whooper making folks poop green) B
