  1. Hey Everyone! In this scroll saw project video, we make a neat Rustic Fish Fretwork piece that I feel would have multiple uses! I used 1/4 inch material for both the scroll work and the backer board on this project. The design is from the Spring 2024 (Issue 94) of Scroll Saw Woodworking & Crafts Magazine by Fox Chapel Publishing. Hope you all can drop a line and enjoy the video! #ArtisanPirate
  2. Went back to some fretwork. Steve Good pattern. 1/4" bbply. Failed experiment with scrapbook paper for colour. The glue caused it to wrinkle. Finished with one coat of varathane.
  3. Hey Everyone! In this scroll saw project video I make this Beautiful Fish Art out of 3 layers of 1/4 inch plywood, I stained this Steve Good design to give off a rustic vibe. This would make a perfect gift for anyone who likes to fish! Hope you all like the video! #ArtisanPirate **BONUS VIDEO** Me sharing my general knowledge of Scroll Saw Blade Clamps in hopes it helps some new scrollers
  4. Hello, I am trying to find a source for nautical "driftwood" wall art. Does anybody know where I could obtain this sort of pattern (see attached image) ? Thanks, Alan
  5. See the thread where I describe the making of this fish. The design, of course, is by Judy Gale Roberts and, other than the eye, all the wood used is Western Red Cedar. The eye is made from Walnut and Holly.
  6. Going to see my nephew on the Carolina coast in a few weeks. He is big into deep sea fishing and thought he would like this. Got the plan from Scroller and added the name of his boat. Cut from 1/8" BB. Very floppy once all the pieces are taken out. Sanded the back before I did that. Backed it up with 1/4" PW and stained with ebony. Didn't want to paint because the contact cement may not hold. Hope he likes it.

  9. this is something quite simple but very nice, I have Donne this using wood burning and scroll saw techniques, some colors applied on the letters to highlight it.
  10. I want to save with you some pictures of my last trophies order, enjoy it.
