  1. As a break from scroll sawing, this relief carving was done on a piece of natural edge Northwest Curly Maple, 21" x 14" x 1 1/2" and was stained with artist oils. It was finished with multiple coats of Minwax Rub on Poly. Thanks for looking. Dick Mira
  2. Hey Everyone And Happy Labor Day If Your In The States! In this fun scroll saw project video, we make a neat little Miniature Horse Head Diorama! This Steve Good Design uses 1/4 inch material for the horses head and 1/2 inch material for the base. This Project would look great in a cabin out in the country! Hope you all like the video! #ArtisanPirate
  3. Just finished this piece. Pattern by me.
  4. Cut, oiled and waiting to make mind up on frame style. Thanks again to John Browner for sourcing the pattern. 11 X 14 stack cut three 1/8th BB ply. Jeff
  5. A couple of horses I made for Christmas presents. The rocking horse is for my great grandson, and thee plaque is for my wife. The rocker is made from poplar and painted. The plaque is made of walnut with and alder overlay and finished in shellac.
  6. I have made a pattern and when it was ready and printed I thought i would be hard to cut, so i decided to try by myself to check if my thoughts were right or not. I cut it in about 3 hours using 5/8" solid pine wood (reclaimed); I used FD Spiral # 3 and FD UR # 3 blades. I am attaching the pattern just in case somebody wants to cut it as well. Your comments are much appreciated. Answer for Roly: yes, your are right, the glue still fresh! Arabian Horse 4.pdf
  7. I am looking for some help to get this picture into a pattern, can somebody help me please?
  8. I have completed this job last night, I made this in 1/8 plywood with a 3/8 ply background. Frame was made in pine.
  9. This is something I have completed today, made from reclaimed pine wood with cedar frame.
