well i got a new laptop for Christmas and decided it needed a stand. i dont have any plans because i made it up as i went along. it measures 8-1/2 by 9-1/2 and goes from 3/4 to 2" tall. i used my scrollsaw to cut out the pocket so the bottomn is 1/4" in there to fit the accessories. it's made of #2 common pine with an african mohagany trim in the front. not bad for my first attempt!!

ok so here is the last jewelry box i gonna make for a while, they don't seem to make it out of the house since my keeps everything for herself. this was my first time trying to do an epoxy inlay and while it worked i think i could have done a better job with the bubbles and material inlayed. i used sea glass for fish tanks and i didnt realize the frosted white ones would turn clear when i wet them, lesson learned. it's all mesquite and varnished. hope you like it!!!
-
this is jewelry box i pieced together using my mesquite scraps, the wife already claimed it as hers. i did use the scroll saw to make the dovetails and it worked out great. hope you like it!!! i also used the dovetail cutouts to make an inlay of sorts (and to fill in space)
