I really can’t get over how quiet it is, I had to wear ear muffs with my old saw. I got the arm lifter from Www.papasworkshop.org

I finally saved enough to get a new scrollsaw and I went with the Dewalt 788. I love this scrollsaw but I had to buy an arm lifter for it and it works great!!!! My old craftsman was starting to show it’s age even though it was a great saw to me. Just the size difference alone is great.

I finally bought a new scrollsaw and decided to try it out on this pattern from Grandpa

I found this free template and decided to do it with epoxy.

my latest cuttings, first two were practice patterns from some free stencils and the last is from scrollsawartist that I bought the pattern for. its been a little while since I cut anything so I had to practice on something easy!!!!!

i had no idea about these templates/patterns until i saw papel picado on tv and started looking into it. some of the work they do is amazing and looks more difficult than scrollsaw cutting to me.

this pattern is from Bobscroll and my wife loved it!!!!!
