  1. I and my customer really liked the picture of the Russian artist Andrei Shishkin "Gamblers". I contacted the author and received his permission to make this wooden jigsaw puzzle. The result seems to be interesting. For figures, I applied the theme of playing cards of different styles and eras. You can visit the artist’s website and see many other paintings https://a-shishkin.ru/ I pasted 2 parts of the picture onto a plywood sheet. The middle will be cut two layers together. My plaing cards patterns: Two parts of the picture are precisely calibrated according to the marking and fixed together with nails. This is a couple of characters from the paintings of Andrei Shishkin:
  2. I used for this jigsaw puzzle a poster "Tategoto" by artist Haruyo Morita. "Tategoto" is translated from Japanese means "harp", that is, a stringed musical instrument. Size - 42x28 cm 300 pieces
  3. My next puzzle was made from a photo of the T-90 tank. I thought of making figurals in the form of a parade of tanks and other armored vehicles from the early 20th century to the 21st century. I guess I should have added the very first tank, painted by Leonardo da Vinci. I forgot! Here you can see: * Mark I Male, United Kingdom * Schneider R-16 and Renault, France * M3A1 Stewart, USA * King tank by designer Lebedenko with huge bicycle wheels, Russia * and other tanks, armored personnel carriers, self-propelled guns. In addition, at the request of the customer, I drew several silhouettes of tanks from one computer game. I selected the figurals by a water stain. 18*11.5" 582 parts I reflected some photos of the back side of the puzzle that you could read the text. All the silhouettes I made on one scale, so you can correlate the real dimensions of these machines.
  4. Hallo! I wonder, do you know Masha and the Bear? Be sure to meet you! Moreover, these cartoons are in English and 34 other languages. Many cartoon series are freely available. In Russian, all parts of the cartoon are free. One of my favorites - №27 - "Oil painting". I used a poster, pasted on 1/4 birch plywood. The figurals of the puzzle are made in the form of cartoon characters. Size 12 * 7 "(30 * 17.5cm) 92 pieces, 11 figurals Smile with Masha! English video - 30 parts, but no free "Oil painting" Russian video - "Oil painting". I think it will be fun even without translation.
  5. This is the name of the calendar with watercolors of the Russian artist Victoria Kirdiy. I used 4 sheets of 12 for my puzzle. Size of ready puzzle is 25*19, but my scrollsaw is 16 only. Because I made it from 2 separate parts. For good fits I cut its together. It was very easy and fun - to come up with plots for the details of the puzzle. I removed the remains of the paper (the pattern and the image edge) from parts of the frame with the aid of solvent gasoline (white spirit). This easily spreads the spray glue 77, then I polished it a bit with sandpaper. Number of parts on quarters: The kitten - 170 Watermelon - 176 Boats - 129 Chatting girl-friends - 168 and the frame - 141 Totaly 832 parts
  6. I keep a retrospective of my work. This puzzle was made in March 2013. There has been used a poster with a picture of the French impressionist painter Jean Marc Janiaczyk. 254 items, including 27 figurals; size 11.8 * 7.4 "
  7. Ufologists say that the kidnapping of domestic and wild animals flying saucers is happening in different parts of the world almost constantly, and there is ample evidence of this. Hollywood tells a lot about it! ¡No pasarán! - They shall not pass! - I decided. To fight the aliens stood courageous cowboys and terrestrial dinosaurs (probably of Jurassic Park). Accurate shot knocked one UFO and the other trying to eat a T-Rex. To ensure order put a road sign "UFO movement is prohibited." 183 items, size about 8 * 12 "
  8. This pair of puzzles was made in 2013. I show its together, because the first one was a test of my skills before cutting the second. For the first puzzle, I used a picture of Hollie Sierra " The Mermaid". I came up with the cutting pattern and draw it on my computer, then I printed out the pattern for the whole puzzle. Then I began to cut from the middle of that pattern, becouse paper was fixed by scotch on the edges of the plywood. Size about 8 * 10, 120 parts
  9. Alphonse Mucha was a famous painter of the Czech in the early 20th century. Most of his works were combined in small series. In particular, there are several series "Seasons", consisting of "Winter", "Spring", "Summer", "Autumn". This is one of them. It was my first puzzle, created at the end of 2012. I remember it with a smile. Then I took the first steps and tried plywood taste. As I remember, for sticking pictures of calendar, I used white glue and paper too quickly adheres and covered with bubbles. I had to tear it very quickly, to wet with water and apply again more successfully. After that I bought a spray glue. Since it is fewer errors. Here I used a horrible construction plywood that had a long time to sand. Later, I found a good smooth plywood for subsequent work. Dimensions 52 * 22cm (20.8 * 8.8), 369 parts.
  10. This puzzle was made at the request of Nikita for his girlfriend Daria. Here are written the names of the couple in Russian, and a few figurals. They are addicted to dance, so I used the pictures among silhouettes of dancing couples. Background I filled arbitrary lines. This style of cutting I applied under the inspiration from the works of John Stokes. This is my favorite American artist in the field of puzzles. It is a pity that now he makes only one masterpiece a year! Size 21*30cm (5.25*12) 126 pieces
