Two Truths & A Lie:

  1. I finished cutting this wood-art piece on my scroll saw today. 1200 cuts. What was I thinking when I started this monster? Depicts an old mining town and railroad.
  2. Logging Train wood-art pic just completed cutting on my scroll saw today.
  3. I found this pattern here. I'm sorry I can't remember who to give attribution too. This one has 50 holes to drill, double the last on. Fingers crossed I can do it justice. I've tried several methods so far, directly marking the wood is the most comfortable for my eyes to see and follow the line. I've tried tape, and paper in various combos. This one seems the most promising for me at this point.
  4. I made the pattern for this from a photograph found online.
  5. The original drawing is by Ovid Creasy. I selectively stained the wood with slightly different stains to darken the water. The wood had a natural "flaw" through the center right where I needed it.
