  1. Welcome back! Looking forward to seeing what you cut.
  2. Thank you Joe, I agree completely. Happy to be back.
  3. Pretty sure other things would be burned first!
  4. Take her up on it, go do a tandem! You'll love it, and then come back and thank me later.
  5. I've put a little gallery up here. I've been cutting all kinds of things. My goal is to get to doing intarsia. I really like this Bill's type of Intarsia. https://www.youtube.com/@NewtonMakesArt I enjoy fret work as well. I'd like to do some pet portraits and even human portraits if possible. I just bought a scroll saw puzzle book on Amazon. I have a granddaughter in GA that needs some GPops made toys. Mostly I'm just having fun finding patterns and giving them a go. Trying everything I can. I'm a dabbler.
  6. Likewise, welcome. What is your favorite type of scroll'n so far?
  7. What a timely thread. I just ordered a headband magnifier. Fingers crossed this works better than what I have currently.
  8. Hi Marie, welcome from another newbie on there too. I wish I could have found a great saw like that when starting out. You are going to love that machine! Have you started cutting some pieces yet?
  9. I haven’t been on a message board or forum in years and years. I must say, y'all are absolutely amazing! This is a wonderful community here and I really appreciate it. Thank you again @CharleyL!
  10. Thx Bill! Bill’s are gathering...
  11. I can't complain. The Asheville VA has taken pretty good care of me. I tore my rotator cuff and my bicep in my left shoulder. I'm on the tail end of that recovery now, but the surgeon overthere fixed me right up. Nowhere near the pain I was in before. Recovery has been rough, but I'm nearly done. Next up my hearing.
  12. That drill sounds awesome. You use it to good effect.
  13. This one is a partial Steve Good design I cut a few days ago. I modified it with a pencil and then cut it.
