Fay Prozora Posted July 12, 2014 Report Posted July 12, 2014 This bowl is from Carole Rothmans' book on wooden bowls. It is not perfect but I did enjoy making it. I'm going to give it to my sister in law and I'm in hoes that she will like it. THe basket that I made for her got broken so I made this bowl. If my lathe comes on Tuesday I might be able to turn a nice bowl for her. Any way, my angles are getting better and I used the pine wood that my brother gave me and finishes it with butcher block oil and butcher block bees wax stuff so you can put food in this bowl. What a find, but more than that the price, free is the only thing that could have beat the price. You should show us more of it. It's a heavy duty one at that! Lucky you again. I might be able to turn a nice urn for Mom. She had told me some time ago that I should make some thing for her ashes. I don't know if I will do that as yet... Fay Quote
