ChelCass Posted August 31, 2014 Report Posted August 31, 2014 My niece has asked if I could scroll a ornament (or something close) of the Boyne City, Michigan Gazebo. It has a bell shaped roof,a little different then most you see. I don't know how to attach a picture using this computer (my new desktop got fried last week when we had a power surge.) She and my Nephew were married there on Aug 30,2013. There names are Brian and Ginger. Is a pattern possible?? Thanks! Quote
Scrappile Posted August 31, 2014 Report Posted August 31, 2014 Well I found a picture of it that is almost a pattern. I had to increase it's size so it is fuzzy, maybe someone will know how to improve it: Quote
ChelCass Posted September 1, 2014 Author Report Posted September 1, 2014 Thanks Scrappile, It's a great start. I don't think I can cut this but I know I can burn it! I will see if I can put their names and date below it. Thanks so much. Quote
Scrappile Posted September 1, 2014 Report Posted September 1, 2014 (edited) I put it in photoshop again and tried to sharpen it up. This is a little better: Edited September 1, 2014 by Scrappile ChelCass 1 Quote

Birchbark Posted September 2, 2014 Report Posted September 2, 2014 I've tried to find a good image that would work for you. But no luck. I found only one picture of the gazebo, and it was not clear enough to make a decent pattern. Sorry, but i wanted you to know that i did try. Russell Quote
bobscroll Posted September 2, 2014 Report Posted September 2, 2014 Hi Judy, I just had a go at the pattern for you, See what you think, Bob Quote
ChelCass Posted September 2, 2014 Author Report Posted September 2, 2014 Thanks Russ, I appreciate you giving it a try. I had a hard time finding a decent picture as well. Judy Quote
ChelCass Posted September 2, 2014 Author Report Posted September 2, 2014 This will work Bob. I think I will make a plaque they can hang on the wall. Thanks so much for the pattern. Judy Quote

Scrappile Posted September 5, 2014 Report Posted September 5, 2014 Judy, I've been trying to learn to make patterns so take this for what it is worth. I think I have this where it could be cut, but i don't know how to add the names and date to it. Won't hurt my feeling if you can't use it. I had fun playing with. Someday I will figure this pattern making out. Quote
LarryEA Posted September 5, 2014 Report Posted September 5, 2014 How great a group of people we have here. You all should take a bow. Scrappile, Bob for patterns and Russell for trying. Quote
ChelCass Posted September 7, 2014 Author Report Posted September 7, 2014 Thanks again Scrappile. I think I can work with this. Thanks again everybody for all your help. Hugs, Judy bobscroll 1 Quote
