Rob Roy Posted January 13, 2015 Report Posted January 13, 2015 That's going to look Just amazing when it's finished off Hans. A remarkable job perfectly executed. You must have scroll sawing GENES, (not the DENIM ones). . Rob Roy. Bendita 1 Quote

Bendita Posted January 28, 2015 Author Report Posted January 28, 2015 Hans, Seeing it on the table brings up a really big question..HOW WERE YOU ABLE TO CUT SOMETHING THIS LARGE ON A SCROLL SAW ? Dick heppnerguy I didn't cut the table on the scroll saw Dick just the insert the table I build it first then cut a hole in the middle with a jig saw then used a router for the rabbit to lay the scrolled insert in the scroll piece is only 16 x 22 and was all cut with #3 & #1 spirals Quote
amazingkevin Posted January 28, 2015 Report Posted January 28, 2015 I've done big projects before ,not as many holes though.Did you cut half of it right side up and the other half up side down .Mine were 20" x40"(2 of them). Also did you modifie your dewalt table bigger to keep the very fragile project as flat as possible while cutting.I know my projects got pretty flimsey with so many holes it was scary just to lift it up to thread the saw blade in the next hole. Yes and Yes Kevin you pretty well have to support it as it gets to heavy to hold steady and cut at the same time as for cutting up side down yes of course as the saw only accommodates 20" but I used strictly spirals and there really is no picture on this pattern so it really didn't make a difference. amazingkevin 1 Quote
