oldhudson Posted January 26, 2015 Report Posted January 26, 2015 Welcome back! When my blood pressure was high I took the salt shaker off the table. My wife still uses it, sparingly, in cooking but I never add it to anything but sweetcorn now. That helped my BP. Here's my wife playing with our new rescue dog and his new Chuck-It toy. This toy has some real advantages over just throwing a tennis ball. 1. you can throw a lot further; 2. you don't have to bend so far to pick up the ball when your dog returns it; 3. but best of all you don't get frozen dog slobber on every pair of gloves you own! PS I tried to show a video but can figure out how to post it LOL Sorry about the quality of the pic, it was really overcast. LarryEA and wombatie 2 Quote
edward Posted January 26, 2015 Report Posted January 26, 2015 Welcome back Edward, glad your feeling better, and scrolling helps you relax. And thanks for the coffee. edward Quote
LarryEA Posted January 26, 2015 Report Posted January 26, 2015 Thanks for the coffee Edward, you gotta remember that we're big eaters too. I'd like to sit and talk. I've always heard the expression, 'suffering depression.' Never, never heard anyone say, 'Hi Guys I am back after enjoying depression.' Now I pray you are back enjoying life. Joy lowers blood pressure... laughter you know. 'Hi Guys I am back after enjoying much delight and low blood pressure.' Be a happy clown,, not "The Tears of a Clown." Happy Days Edward. Quote
Dan Posted January 26, 2015 Report Posted January 26, 2015 Thanks for the brew! Glad to see you are back. Forester 1 Quote
jerrybritner Posted January 26, 2015 Report Posted January 26, 2015 Have had blood pressure issues for years, please take care of yourself. Oh reminds me I read a cure for high blood pressure I had not seen before take 20 raisins and place them in a 12 ounce container of water over night, the next morning eat the raisins one by one then drink the water. Sounds about as far out there as drinking a glass of pickle juice every morning. Well glad your back in the shop, as doing something you enjoy will help you in more ways than just the blood pressure. Next time please no decaf and how about a plain cake donut on the side chuckle! Quote
wombatie Posted January 27, 2015 Report Posted January 27, 2015 Glad your back and feeling better, even happier to hear that you are back scrolling again. I'll have a Chai Latte please. Stay safe everyone. Marg Quote
Phantom Scroller Posted January 27, 2015 Report Posted January 27, 2015 Ed you need to get out and walk around that lovely countryside you have out there, it's suppose to reduce the blood pressure and help with the depression better than popping the pills the doctors issue all the time. But then again what do I know. Great your up and running again, how's the wife. Roly Forester 1 Quote
