Handi Posted January 28, 2009 Report Posted January 28, 2009 I woke up this morning... Earlier then I wanted to... I guess the Early Bird always catches the worm. My Awakening was a call to Nature (not that you wanted to know this), so I arose from my Awakened Slumber. My Boy was already awake, as always, come to find out, School was closed today because of Snow. But I did not know this. All I knew was, he was in bed and not at school and I wasn't really Paying attention. So I done my Duty as always before I do my morning Task. Which are as followed: 1. Nature Calls 2. Let the Dogs outta the bedroom 3. Close the Gate everymorning 4. Let Dogs out to use restroom, Ladies First, Gentalmen Next 5. Set infront of my Computer But today, I have done all of the above, except, This morning, I have shouvled about a foot of snow off my Pourch, thinking that the Winterazation Man was going to show up, so he could get in the house. Only to my Knowledge, he has called in also, and rescheduled because of the Snow, Disapointment #1. We were waiting for over 2 years for some assistance on Winterization ( New Furnace, Water Heater, Weather Stirpping) for the house since Money is Scarce. But I have achieved a little better attitude this morning as my Boy got back up from Sleeping and the Ole Lady came out, and the Boy told me Good morning and Happy Birthday. We are also going to be working on his Pinewood Derby Car sometime today and Mostlikely do a Little video about it. Anyway, on a Side note... I'm 34, Still Wheelin (kickin) and ready for a new day. Hope everyones morning is a Great one! Here is a Small video i took this morning of me and the Snow, not Scroll Saw Related, but Hey, this is the Coffee house, Anything Goes! Quote

Yep and I can't wait... I like getting old... it bothers me not 1 bit... Mainly cause iv'e accepted age and you can't stop it... But I'm not bothered by aging, if I shaved, I've heard that I look WAY Younger then what I am. So i guess that's a good thing to a degree eh? Thanks Quote

Christina Posted January 28, 2009 Report Posted January 28, 2009 HAPPY BIRTHDAY HANDI! I hope your special day is the very best and all your birthday wishes come true. Hopefully the roads will be cleared enough soon so that your winterization person can get there. I know what it's like...........I have small electric heaters, a portable propane heater and a kerosene heater and that's how we stay warm in the winter. And water and the bathroom are across the yard in our storage building. We sit on a huge bed of sandstone and granite.............so it's way to expensive for us to have someone come try to dig trenches to put the plumbing in.......$1800 for a few feet. Stay warm and enjoy your family! Christina Quote
Travis Posted January 28, 2009 Report Posted January 28, 2009 Happy Birthday, Handi! I hope you have a great day. Pine wood derby car will be a lot of fun to build. Spending your birthday with loved ones and doing what you love? Couldn't ask for much better! Have a great day and have a piece of cake for us! Quote
