  1. Thanks guys. I was just wondering what the name of the site was. I was just wanting to Look around and see what they might of had. Just looking for something new I think. Nothing special. I was Looking for one thing thou. My Brother and Sister was Barrel Racing. So I was Kinda Looking for something like that, a Cowboy on a Horse going around a Barrel or something. I didn't see anything like that here, I didn't look all that hard either lol. Kinda pressed for time. Handi

I know you've talked about a Forum before but I thought it was Steve Goods Blog and not Travi's Forum! LOL. Nice to see you around here also. And good work as always! Handi
  9. That's a Very nice box. What did you use to cut it with? Kinda looks like 1/4" Baltic Birch, but then again the color isn't there for birch unless you Stained it. Handi
  10. Hey everyone. It's been awhile. Here is my Last project I've done the other night. I didn't have my Picture uploaded to any of my Picture sites right now, so I'm just going to embed this code to Lumberjocks since I upload my projects there also, far easier then going threw all the trouble of uploading more pictures and stuff to another site at the moment. Hope you like it. Handi
  11. Downloading it now, Think I had I had it downloaded awhile back but removed it along with GIMP. Just looking for something pretty simple but pretty powerful, not Planning on Spending Tons and Tons of time Designing and all, Just a Simple outside frame that I can print that will be in the True Dimentions at whatever I set it at. Once I get a Few Basic Patterns and all, I will Toss some this way for Y'all to check out and maybe use! Handi
  12. Hello Everyone, Been awhile... I'm still here and still around... Althou I've not beek kicking up any Dust on my Saw lately... :( Money is Scarce so I've not been buying any Wood to play around with, hopeing that will change next month as I'd like to get somemore of my Christmas Ornaments out on my Etsy store for the Early Christmas Shopping lol. Anyway, I'm thinking about working on some Desktop Picture Frames that will Fit 4x6 Photos. My Only Hangup is well, Figureing out how to Dimentsion the Numbers and all in a Graphic program, I redone my system while back so I've not installed anything yet, thinking of going the Free Route atm. Anyway, gonna Design some Picture Frames and all with "Mom" "Dad" "Son" "Daughter" Etc on the top, maybe Pet and some lil scroll Saw stuff along the border, but Just wondered if I could get some insight on how to put numbers in to make the inside diminsion the way i want it and the outside the way i want it and have it print at those numbers so when I cut it, it will fit the way i want it to. 13. Hey Travis. Well I seen the post on the blades, and thought it would be beneficial for me to post something since it's been awhile since i have. i've been posting 1x a week on my Workshop blog with Woodworking Tips, and that's about it. Been Playing warcraft and watching a little TV catchin up on some Old Shows i've not see in a month or so. And waiting and pondering what to do next on the Saw or the Workshop. I think i do have it figured out thou of what my next project is going to be.. i'm a BIG Billiards Fan. I have a professional Pool Cue called a Mali. 19 oz. Cue. 150 Dollar Cue paid 25 Bucks and a game for the rest of it lol. Anyway, I had a Pleather Case that held my Cue along with a Pouch to hold my Chalk. The Zipper Corrouded shut, so i couldn't get it unzipped. So the plans here soon are to build me one out of Mahogony or maybe Cherry, I've not really Decided... my Pool Cue is a Blueish Green marble effect. I will take a picture and post the link here... So with that in mind, i'm going to build one that will hold 6 pieces of Chalk, 1 or 2 Rows of Quarters Pokerchip Style, and then my Cue. I'm thinking of doing it Finger Joint Style all the way around it to give it a pattern, then on top I'm going to do some Inlay work, will be my first... So Most likely I will be doing a Video on the Whole Process, expecially the Inlay process. So this will be a learning Experience for me as well as everyone else... If I had the time and all, and knew when I was really going to do it, i would broadcast it live, but I think I'm going to focus on a Podcast on this one... i think everyone on my Blog is getting a little bit tired of my Woodworking Tips lol And no action. Anyway, i will still be in and out... I need to do some Catch up blogging lol... Handi
  14. I have to say... I save some of mine.. It all depends on how Badly worn they are. I have a kerf in the back of mySaw that holds blades, so all of my Used ones go there for now. The reason I save my Old Blades... Is for the simple fact that if I have a project that needs a little cutting and don't require a Really Sharp Blade for such a Small project, I chuck in a old blade, make my few little cuts I need, then take it out for another use later on, this saves money. Not to mention, depending on what kind of blade it is... You can Flip the Blade around and cut on the upper 1/4 of the Blade as well, I get inbetween 2 to 4 uses out of my Plywood Blades. When I chuck them, I use them til they are badly worn, then I flip, do the same, then on one side, I take off bout 1/4" from the bottom of the Blade, then rechuck it, when that's worn, I flip and do the same, this gives me several uses out of a single blade. 15. @Travis: Thanks Travis, The weather hasn't been too bad here so far... Still got to keep the heat on and around 72-75, bit cold for me, but there was a heatwave, so I figured what the Hey, I've been promising a Tour for sometime on Lumberjocks, here, and everywhere else. That Craftsman Combo Belt and Disc Sander... It's not bad, but I wouldn't recommend it, not that one anyway, I've not had it that long, little over a Year, and not to long after I started using it, Warrenty out also, the Set Screw to hold the Table up for the Disc, Stripped, so now I dn't have a Small table to set my Sanding Angle on, that's why it was down in the video, but at least it still runs, I think if i build a table for it, I think I can make a base myself for it and change them out for different angled ones, make it more versitile for me.. I had the same Scroll Saw you had Travis also, that's the one that I used 2x and it broke on me, had to take it back, and got it replaced with my Replacement Warrenty, the new one works really well, the one you have they don't make anymore... I would also like to get a Small Braid nailer myself, I've got 2 Air tools, my Impace Wrench and Impact Hammer, and of course my Standard Tire tools... @Christina: I think if you goto my Blog, I know you mentioned before that you couldn't watch the videos that well cause of Dialup, if you goto my blog, it will be in FLV format, should be able to watch it that way, if not, holler at me and I will make a Special Post and convert it for 56k Speed just for you! @Blame: Thanks, got lots of work to do on it, hopefully I will be able to get some benches in before the Ole Lady wants me to redo the kitchen... With some Tabes and stuff I can work more sufficient.
  16. Well everyone... Now that it's starting to warm up a bit outside... I took my Video Camera outside and done my Shop Tour that i promised everyone that i would do once it got warmer outside... Drum roll please... LOL... Below is my Shop Video. Enjoy the video, and I would also like to Appoligize for my Absence, I've been hooked more and more on World of Warcraft. I've not even been at my Scroll Saw forever it seems... I've also been having some Skin problems so my abscenes was a have to thing also. Anyway, Enjoy the video, I hope you arn't to hard on me with the comments lol, actually don't bother me. Throw them at me hard or easy... Thanks Handi
  17. Sup everybody. Sorry i've not been around, A majority of my time has been playing World of Warcraft... What an adictive game along side Woodworking and Scroll Sawing lol. I've managed to have a few minutes of Free time this morning with No Ole lady or Boy running around, that I've decided to Try my Hand at some Audio Podcasting for Primary Reviews and the likes where my Camera can't get or view... So, if you would like to check it out, I have an Introduction Audio Podcast on my Blog at http://www.handisworkshop.blogspot.com since i'm having difficulty linking the blip.tv link to here, it may be just as easy to head over to the blog and listen to it. Furture Audio Podcast will be added, you can also check them out at iTunes which I have an account over there also for my Video and now my Audio, just search for "Handi's Workshop" This isn't an advertisement to head over to my Blog lol, it's just to let everyone know about my Audio Podcast since I can't link it here, and I cross linked it to my Blog and i figured it would be a little easier for everyone to listen to it there, then comment here and or there or both places lol
  18. Travis: it's your call, you are the Man here lol... We can post them all in the General, that's fine with me.
  19. Travis: you might consider a Forum Topic or something just Related to Favorite Links or Great Finds Scroll Saw Related... Something like that would be a Great Resource to Spike up the Imagination of others...
  20. Hello everyone. 21. Travis: That is the SAME Scroll Saw I had last year that I used 2x before it broke on me this past October. I loved it all the way around except for the Tentioning Knob in the back. The 45 Tilt left and right, The Light, The Blower and the Bigger Table. Now since mine is Broken, i took it in for the Replacement Warrenty and got my Current Saw... I will take a Picture of it and post it...
  22. So does that mean that I have Inspired more people then i thought I would have, not just with my Good Looks, my Good Scroll Saw and my Good work? i'm a G.I.M.P. (G)reat (I)nspiration to (M)any (P)eople ROFL... Sorry had to go there... Alot of poeple odn't like the word GIMP for a Disabled person, But you know, i don't care.. As long as you don't call me late for Supper! LOL
  23. Welcome to my Last Video... Part 5 I hope everyone liked my Video Series... It was easier posting just 5 Edited Videos then it was Posting 20 Videos of 25 to 30 minutes long, that's what I had to edit lol. So enjoy the last Video. I didn't get anything done last night on the Pinewood Derby car last night cause i wasn't feeling that great... So I will be doing a Recording this evening as I told my Boy that we would, we have to do it soon cause the Derby is this weekend. So Stay Tuned for the Derby car, since I can't get to the garage and use my Bandsaw, I'm turning it into a Scroll Saw Project lol.
  24. Clayton: I'm an Eagle Fan. Part of my Cherokee Heritage also, and these are such wonderful Animals... Their wingspans between 5 to 7 Foot in length, and Lay only a Clutch of 3 eggs with on average 1 Survives after Hatching. Because the babys Fight for the food and push the others out of the Nest to be the only One standing. A Survivelist... Very Impressive... I like it... That would go well with my Collection! lol
  25. Tavis: I didn't hear the phone... LOL, I have Hearing Problems also along with my Wheelchair problems lol. I can hear, but not as good as I like, and Cell Phones, Beepers, Birds, Crickets, anything with a High Pitch Is outta the question. Probably good thing cause it was probably a Bill Collector lol
