realfEZ Posted September 17, 2009 Report Posted September 17, 2009 Hi, Just wanted to share what's going on in my shop. I've finally decided I'd cut the Targui man portrait, and make it kinda big! well as big as 16x29". I had to divide the pattern to 6 parts cut every part separately to reassamble the lot. I've cut two layers in one go. Still a long way to go.... Wish me luck. fEZ ;•=) Quote
wood-n-things Posted September 17, 2009 Report Posted September 17, 2009 Good luck..That is going to be awesome when finished. Quote

Travis Posted September 19, 2009 Report Posted September 19, 2009 That's pretty neat. I've always wanted to do a large design broken into segments. I can't wait to see it finished. Quote
Marshall Posted September 20, 2009 Report Posted September 20, 2009 FEZ this look like one of those projects that will be cherished for sure , be glad to see it finished .. ...........Marshall Quote
realfEZ Posted October 9, 2009 Author Report Posted October 9, 2009 Thanks Marshall! Okay! her's the moment of truth. I still can work on the color, so this in isn't quite definitive... All advisory (or not) opinions are welcome. fEZ ;•=) Quote
Travis Posted October 10, 2009 Report Posted October 10, 2009 That turned out wonderful. I really like how you paint and finish your projects. You're certainly a faux finish aficionado! Quote
Christina Posted October 11, 2009 Report Posted October 11, 2009 Absolutely wonderful cutting fEZ! I love it. If it were me, I think I would just hint at color in the clothing........not much......just a hint here and there. Like a chalk and charcoal painting.......a little smudge here and there will add another demension to an already spectacular portrait. Thanks so much for sharing your work with us......I really enjoyed seeing it. Christina Quote
