Absolute sacrilege Gator. My two grandsons are Traumatised seeing all that lovely ice cream tipped into a dumpster.

okay blue bell ice cream is a staple here in texas. Gods gift to Texas. any way they had a out break of of a bacteria and they pulled all ice cream off store shelves  and they are cleaning all plants top to bottom. so no one can get blue bell. slogan is "we eat all we can and sell the rest" this is up there with the fall of the alamo, well not quite but close 2nd

I understand completely.  It surely is sad seeing the empty shelves in the store.  Hopefully it will be back soon.

Wasn't it an outbreak of Listeria bacteria?  They've been recalled everywhere, which is really sad, because I love Bluebell ice cream.  (They make the only dairy free sherbert, which is all I can eat comfortably)
